All three projects were created from different organisational backgrounds. See below for details
relevant to each. For Half Moon and Cyrff Ystwyth, the groups already existed and ‘pre-project planning’
included recognising and building on work already existing in the organisation. For OTW, the migrant group
were a new group and presented additional challenges in forming, therefore.
As well as individual organisations planning projects with the researchers, Sally Mackey led a two-day intensive at RCSSD in July 2011 to debate the research ideas and potential directions of the work with the steering group (partner organisations and researchers). This was the ‘opening’ to the whole research project and offered some foundations for the work that followed. These clips give a sense of what took place during those two days.
